One window is enough

2023

Co -production with Theater im Depot (Dortmund) premiered at the Festival Beyond Gravity: a festival for digital art, dance and performance 2023. The piece was also pre - premiered at the New Now Festival - Festival for Digital Art in Europe 2023, organized by PACT Zollverein (Essen).

Sinopsis:

The dance artists Sara Escribano, Anna Schneider and the video artist Lieve Vanderschaeve present an interpretation of the poem "Window'' by Forough Farrokhzad. In a play between the body and technology, where the body is a source and the technology is a translator/co-creator of the choreography, they allow movement to emerge. Traveling through different stations of life, they explore how virtual spaces can unleash new powers and free up space for creativity. Using time as a constant companion to perceive memories, the dancers awaken to new clarity. A collective feat of strength becomes a choreography that does not forget the solo, but still provides a foothold in the togetherness.
