Co-creation with Josepine Patzelt performed on August 29th at the Frei Performance Kultur Festival 2020 in the Alte Feuerwache, Cologne. (Germany).

"The soul that can speak through the eyes, can also kiss with a ganze" (Gustavo A. Bécquer). This quote refers to the ease of transmitting emotions, especially when they are intense, through eye contact.

The look is and will remain one of the most efficient communication systems when transmitting our thoughts.In nonverbal communication studies, looking is the action of moving your eyes toward something and paying attention to it; gaze is the sensory factor that allows us to open a field of interaction with the other.

As the gaze has a direction it can be understood as movement, which is directed towards each other and be answered, ignored, translated, transformed, reflected in different shapes. We approach the direction of gazes between us as well as the ones connecting us with the audience, which makes the room function as a nucleus of communication. What can we find out about the resonance between the movement of the gazes and the movement of a body?
